Who is mog?

mog is me, Marcus Oliver Graichen. You can call me Marcus, mog, Mr Graichen, whatever you feel most comfortable with.

What about the machine?

The machine is everything that encompasses my digital life, mostly through work, but with a healthy dose of learning and play. I ‘borrowed’ the idea from the skateboarding company Toymachine many many years ago, rather than the current pop icon Florence.

What services do you offer?

I used to have a lengthy list of services listed here to cover my broad range of skills, the ever changing nature of the industry and my passions, but i have come to realise this is not very useful to the reader as it is essentially mind boggling and hard to understand.

So i have come to the conclusion that i should simply tell you what kind of projects i am currently working on, perhaps slip in a few that i would like to be working on and then just provide you with my details to see if we should add your project to that list.

Yes i most certainly do. I also manage website builds, design processes and offer consultation and guidance on how you can best use todays technology to benefit your business.

What kind of websites do you build?

These seem to come in a variety of different flavours recently with by far the most popular being those made with WordPress. This is because of the streamlined budget options, ability to manage your own site content and the ease of integration of many industry leading techniques including a highly configurable number of integrated e-commerce platforms.

Did you say e-commerce?

Yes i did. For both small and large businesses e-commerce is the natural way to go, however this can often be an area dominated by bloated quotes and solutions that are not always best suited to the scale and budget of the client.
I have a number of e-commerce options from small shops with very low start up and operating costs all the way up to large custom stores offering almost  unlimited functionality and potential.

Will you design my website?

Me personally, no. Why? because i am not a designer and therefore i do not think it delivers the best results to my clients to have me design their sites from scratch. However, I am an excellent project manager with a very keen eye for design and have a number of design options available to suit the needs of the client.

What are my design options?

If we use WordPress you are lucky to have a vast array of high quality pre-constructed templates to choose from that can be easily modified to incorporate your specifications and brand identity at a very low outlay to you compared to traditional design budgets.

If you have the budget and would like to go through a more traditional design process to produce something more unique then I have excellent results running international design competitions which can be set to your budget and when properly managed can have some stunning results.

Finally, if you would like to use an outside designer or agency then i will happily work with them to translate any supplied template(s) into your project to achieve the site of your dreams.

I do offer full SEO services and i have also developed a bit of a speciality in effectively deploying video on the web for both video production companies and end users.
