DogBotPublishing
THE BRIEF
The founders of Maiplues approached me as old friends looking to setup a site to support the music publishing arm of their business.
As development time and most importantly budget were of key concerns for this startup yet the requirements for the site had to be adhered to with no cutting of corners or costs.
THE SOLUTION
In such a situation we again opted to use a WordPress based core due to the amount of out of the box or quick to plugin functionality and the ease of maintenance by the client having managed WordPress sites in the past.
The concept of the site is to promote musical acts and their creations for the intent of commercial rights, publishing and licensing of their work on a bespoke basis to industry clients and their requirements.
this meant the site had to be fluid, easy to navigate but most importantly promote cross content browsing through the use of tags and related content.
THE FUTURE
The site has been running for just over a year now and the business is building momentum all the time.
The company recently decided to change their name from Maiplues to DogBotPublishing and as a result the site had to be seamlessly reconfigured to support this change of domain which was achieved with no impact to the public site.
