Ethics

At Mog Machine Ltd. we are concerned with the world around us, we do not bury our heads in the sand and feel that it is everyone’s duty to take personal responsibility for their world and the world around them.

Wherever possible [and i go to pretty extreme lengths to ensure this] we operate a PAPER FREE OFFICE with no invoices, receipts or unnecessaries being printed out just to be thrown away later.

We are not an official Carbon Neutral company as we disagree with the ethics involved in handing over £2500 just to display a logo on your site with no change in the way you operate your business, so we recycle, don’t drive a car, unplug devices, don’t leave lights on, save water, eat and shop sensibly and ethically and take on many other personal responsibilities that ensure that I don’t have to hand over my money with no real assurance of its destination just to balance my conscience.

We also believe in usable and accessible web design and production, ensuring that all sites produced by us of commercial value and public access adhere to the accessibility guidelines stated by the W3C.
These guidelines are set out as a legal requirement in the Disabilities Discriminations Act where from 1st October 1999 a service provider has to take reasonable steps to change a practice which makes it unreasonably difficult for disabled people to make use of its services.

We are not infallible however so if you feel that there are other steps and alternative actions you would like us to take both in your project and on others then please fell free to let us know and we will be happy to receive your suggestions.
