I have been experiencing mixed reslts with various lightbox plugins fr Worpdress, and have found the JS libraies to be large an unecessery, so i have written a small plugin to enable you to
choose your own image viewer (slimbox is my choice [http://www.digitalia.be/software/slimbox] weighing in at 4KB !).
I know a lot fo these will automatically add to new linking images in posts, ..but what if you alreadyhave a few hundred posts with which you wish to use this functionality, …are you going to edit them all, ..no, ..that is where this plugin comes in.
This plugin for Wordpress automatically add the rel=”userstring[ID-OF-THE-POST]“, or rel=”userstring[COLLECTION]” to images linked in a post
The user string and post/collection preference can be set in the mog_img_links.php file (sorry no front end options panel).
