Fat chance.
I have just come back from a rather lovely trip to the south of France with benniboy.
We hit up the southern town of La Franqui on the med coast after a lovely(!) 24 hour drive, (via the crazy Norman Foster Bridge).
..and for 5 days we hit the lagoon that backs onto the sea, separated by an expanse of salt plains, ..which although innocent looking, can actually be quicksand death traps, ..isn’t that right ben :)
Once the wind dropped in was time to head up to the Alps, ..and Annecy and its mountain lake was our destination, ..for swimming relaxing and more fun and games.
Life is tough.
..now back at work, ..teaching starting next week, ..I am confined to 12 weeks in this country :( ..(sorry to any students reading this, ..i care about you, ..but i care about me more :))
Shell Island in Wales though this weekend, ..to try out my new kite, ..my Naish Helix, ….god i am like an excited child.
Where next, ..toss up between Martinique and Maui ….suggestions please :)
