Vice Magazine 2006

24London, the world’s first ever 24-hour touring art exhibition popped up in Berlin, Milan and Barcelona on 3rd, 8th and 12th November.

The free exhibition, in each city for one day only, was created by Visit London to showcase the unique work of 24 artists who have all been inspired by London in different ways.

The public visited throughout the day and well into the night, to see the unique art pieces which included painting, photography, sculpture, video and digital art, as well as funky sounds of London.

Leading the artist line-up was Turner Prize nominated artist, David Mach, whose specially commissioned 10m long piece of collage art was exhibited at the events whilst also being displayed on billboards and posters throughout Germany, Italy and Spain, as part of a simultaneous ad campaign.
