We were approached by Warmup to create an online application aimed at both the trade and consumer markets, capable of allowing using to design and build their chosen room ,populate it with objects, and then receiving a quote for laying one of the many Warmup underfloor heating products.
This project was undertaken over many months using a combination of Macromedia’s Director for the front end, and clever use of PHP to simulate the AI required to lay the system accurately at the back end.
This project was a great success and can be used live on Warmup’s site.
We are currently in pre-production of phase II of this project that will see its functionality further expanded, and support multiple languages and localization options with the addition of e-commerce facilities.
